Maldives cricket team arrives in Pakistan

LAHORE – The 16-member Maldives Cricket Team along with four-member teammanagement is reaching here on Tuesday on a nine-day tour in which it willfeature in a five-match T-20 series starting from October 18.

The series will help the visiting team to prepare for forthcoming ACCCricket Tournament, said a spokesman for the PCB here.

The first two matches of the five-match series will be played at CountryClub, Muridke against NCA Development Squad and Pak Lions Cricket Club onOctober 18 and 19, 2018, respectively.

The remaining three matches of the series will be played at GymkhanaCricket Ground, Lahore against Gymkhana Cricket Team, LCCA, and Ahmed GlassCricket Team on October 21, 23 and 24, 2018, respectively. The visitingteam will depart on October 25.

16-member visiting squad consists of Mahafooz Mohammad (C), Azam Mohammad(VC) (WK), Mauroof Ameel Ahmed, Hassan Hazing Rasheed, Ibrahim Hassan,Ibrahim Rizan, Ali Ismail, Saeed Saafee Mohammad, Adam Nasif Umar, ShahidAbdullah, Rishwan Mohammad, Yousuf Azyan Faruhath, Ibrahim Nashath, IsmailNazwan Badeeu, Hassan Ibrahim Shaof and Muawiath Abdul Ghanee.
