In many countries, the month of Safar ended on Friday, September 15, whilein several countries, including Pakistan, the possibility of the 1st ofRabi al-Awwal falling on September 17. According to details, in countrieslike Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and others, the month of Safarconcluded on Friday, September 15.
In these countries, the moon of Rabi al-Awwal was sighted on the 30th ofSafar, after which the 1st of Rabi al-Awwal will be observed on thefollowing day, which is Saturday.
On the other hand, in most Islamic and non-Muslim countries, includingPakistan, the month of Safar has not yet concluded. In most of thesecountries, there is a possibility of sighting the moon of Rabi al-Awwal onSunday, September 16, which would mark the beginning of Rabi al-Awwal onSunday, September 17.
In Pakistan, a meeting of the Ruet-e-Hilal Committee for sighting the moonof Rabi al-Awwal 1445 Hijri will be held on Saturday at the Ministry ofReligious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, Kohsar Complex, Pak SecretariatIslamabad, under the chairmanship of Maulana Syed Muhammad Abdul KhabeerAzad, the central president of the Moon Sighting Committee of Pakistan
