Indian troops in fresh act of state terrorism martyred two Kashmiri youth in custodial torture

In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Indian troops in theirfresh acts of state terrorism martyred two youth including one in custodyin Baramulla district.

A youth identified as Irfan Ahmed was arrested during a raid at TujjerSharief in Sopore and later killed in police custody.

The authorities suspended internet service to prevent anti-India protestsin the town. The family of victim demanded an impartial probe into thecustodial killing of Irfan.

The troops arrested several youth during military operations in Baramulla,Kupwara, Bandipora, Ganderbal, Pulwama, Shopian, Rajouri and Samba areas.

Meanwhile, in a statement issued in Srinagar, today, Hurriyat Forum led byMirwaiz Umar Farooq said assertion made by Modi government in IndianParliament that no one is under house arrest in IIOJK is strange,surprising and based on fabrication.

The forum said its Chairman, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, has been under housedetention since August 05, last year, saying if he is not under housearrest then why he is not allowed moving out of his home.

Senior Hurriyat leader, Professor Abdul Ghani Butt, during a visit toMirwaiz Umar Farooq at his residence in Srinagar said that the situation inSouth Asia had turned dangerous as three nuclear powers are now directlyinvolved in the Kashmir dispute.

On the other hand, an APHC delegation comprising Molvi Bashir Ahmed Irfani,Syed Bashir Andrabi, Khawaja Firdous, Yasmeen Raja and Shaheen Iqbal duringa visit to the residence of illegally detained Hurriyat leader, Ameer HamzaShah in Bandipora demanded immediate release of the detained leader.

Another delegation of Shabbir Ahmed Dar, Wasim Ahmed and rights activist,Muhammad Ahsan Untoo criticized Modi regime for gross human rightsviolations in IIOJK.

The Organisation of Kashmir Coalition in a statement issued from Genevawelcomed recent remarks of UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, MichelleBachelet, on grim rights situation in IIOJK.

Turkey in a statement issued at the 45th Session of the UN Human RightsCouncil in Geneva reiterated its demand of the Indian government to liftrestrictions imposed in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
