An Indian Army jawan was killed and two others, including an officer, wereinjured on Tuesday when Pakistani troops retaliated to ceasefire along theLine of Control (LoC) in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Earlier, officials had said that three Army personnel including an officerwere injured in Pakistani firing.
In the afternoon hours, the Indian Army initiated unprovoked ceasefireviolation by firing with small arms and intense shelling with mortars alongLoC in Sunderbani sector of the district.
The Pakistan retaliated befittingly. The officer, along with anothersoldier, is undergoing treatment at the military hospital, sources toldnews agency PTI.
