MOSCOW – Russia and China takes balanced stance over Iran – Saudi Arabiaconflict.
Russia and China have called for restraint by all sides to safeguard peaceand stability in the Middle East following recent attacks on Saudi oilfacilities.
In a statement, Russia’s foreign ministry said it believed that theexchange of strikes on civilian targets was a direct consequence of theongoing sharp military and political crisis in Yemen.
The ministry said we believe it is counterproductive to use what happenedto increase tensions around Iran in line with the well-known US policy.

In a daily news briefing, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Hua Chunyingsaid that it is irresponsible to blame anyone for an attack on SaudiArabia’s oil facilities without conclusive facts.
Hua Chunying said we hope all sides can restrain themselves and can jointlysafeguard the peace and stability of the Middle East.
