ISLAMABAD – Pakistan Cricket likely squad against Sri Lanka series has beenrevealed in which few surprise names emerge.
Umer Akmal, Ahmed Shahzad, Mohammad Hasnain and Wahab Riaz have beenincluded in the top 20 players selected for the series.
The newly appointed head coach and chief selector, Misbah Ul Haq announced20 probable names for the training camp ahead of the home series againstSri Lanka on Monday.
The right-handed opening batsman Ahmed Shehzad and Umar Akmal are among the20 probable names announced by Misbah for the training camp, which willstart from September 18.
The talented opening batsman Abid Ali and Asif Ali are also among theshort-listed players. While the experienced fast bowler, Wahab Riaz, whohas recently announced a break from Test cricket, has also been named forthe camp.
On the other hand, the young pace sensation, Mohammad Hasnain, who has beencalled back from the Caribbean Premier League to perform national dutiesand the all-rounder Mohammad Nawaz are also under consideration forselection.
