*Zardari had made a petition for increase in number of meeting days withfamily.*
An accountability court on Monday rejected a petition by former presidentAsif Ali Zardari requesting an increase in days on which he can be visitedby family members and his legal team.
Filed by Zardari and his sister Faryal Talpur, the petition was opposed bythe prosecutor of the accountability watchdog.
National Accountability Bureau’s (NAB) lawyer stated that meetings with theformer president and his sister could only be held on Mondays.
Earlier, an accountability court in Islamabad had rejected the applicationssubmitted by Zardari and Talpur seeking A-class and extra facilities injail during judicial remand in the fake accounts case.
