DUBAI – Musfhiqur Rahim’s brilliant knock helped Bangladesh register acomfortable 137-run win in the Asia Cup 2018 opener in Dubai on Saturday.

On the day where there were many ups and downs, Rahim stood up like a lonewarrior and scored his career-best 144 to help Bangladesh post more thancompetitive total of 261 on the board after being reduced to 2-1 inside thefirst over.

Rahim was well-supported by young Mohammad Mithun, who scored 63 off 68balls with the help of five fours and two sixes.
