*Islamabad* – Pakistan has unveiled *KASHF*, a state-of-the-art indigenousanti-drone system designed to detect, track, and neutralize hostileunmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). Developed with cutting-edge localtechnology, the system marks a significant leap forward in the country’sdefense and surveillance capabilities.*Purpose & Capabilities*
*KASHF* is engineered to provide comprehensive protection against a growingglobal threat: the misuse of drones for espionage, smuggling, and hostileattacks. The system offers a complete suite of solutions for dronedetection, direction finding, and disruption.*Salient Features*
–
*RF Interception* – Detects and captures drone communication signals. –
*Scanning Direction Finding* – Pinpoints the exact location and movement of incoming drones. –
*RF Jamming* – Disrupts drone control signals, rendering them ineffective. –
*GNSS Jamming* – Blocks navigation signals to prevent drones from maintaining their course. –
*GPS Spoofing* – Sends false coordinates to mislead hostile drones. –
*Hard Kill Capability* – Physical elimination of drones when required.
*Strategic Importance*
The introduction of *KASHF* comes at a time when the use of drones inwarfare and cross-border espionage is on the rise. Military analysts notethat the system could greatly enhance Pakistan’s airspace security, especially along sensitive borders and key installations.
Defense experts believe that the locally developed technology will reducereliance on foreign imports, strengthen Pakistan’s self-reliance in defensemanufacturing, and open avenues for potential exports.
With *KASHF*, Pakistan joins the growing list of nations investing inindigenous counter-drone solutions to counter emerging aerial threats inthe modern battlefield.
