ISLAMABAD – APML president Dr Amjad withdrew his candidature in favor ofthe Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf on Monday.

He made the announcement during a meeting with PTI chairman Imran Khan inBanigala.

Senior leader Asad Umar was also present.

Dr Amjad had filed his nomination papers for NA-53 and 54.
