SRINAGAR: In another move Indian police raided the offices of major newspapers in Srinagar on Saturday.
The police seized tens of thousands of copies and shut down a major printing press in an unprecedented crackdown on print media following widespread anti-India demonstrations in the territory.
The newspaper gag is part of a broader clamp down as the occupation authorities fear intensity in anti-India demonstrations.
Mobile internet services have been snapped while cable networks have been asked to stop operations in the Valley.
