ISLAMABAD – Pakistan PM Imran Khan’s big advice to team ahead of the IndiaPakistan clash.
Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan has advised Pakistan captain to gowith specialist bowlers and batsmen and avoid opting for ‘Railu Kattas’ forthe hyped up contest against the arch-rivals India.
He further suggested the team skipper Sarfraz Ahmed to bat first afterwinning the toss unless the pitch is damp.
“In order to have a winning offensive strategy Sarfaraz must go in withspecialist batsmen and bowlers because “Raillu Kattas” rarely perform underpressure – especially the intense kind that will be generated today. 2.Unless pitch is damp, Sarfaraz must win the toss & bat,” tweeted PM Khan onhis official Twitter account.
He praised Sarfraz Ahmed for being bold and called the team fortunate tohave such a leader. Moreover, he highlighted that talent or skills will notdecide the most anticipated game of the World Cup, instead the mentalstrength will prove to be the decisive factor.
“When I started my cricketing career I assumed success was 70% talent & 30%mind. By the time I finished playing cricket I felt it was 50-50 ratio. Butnow I tend to agree with my friend Gavaskar it’s 60% mental strength & 40 %talent. Today role of mind will be more than 60%,” he wrote. “Today, giventhe intensity of the match, both teams will come under great mentalpressure and the power of the mind will decide the outcome of the matchtoday.”
He further urged the team to not come under pressure for being theunderdogs in this game, he asked the players to give their 100 per cent inthe match and accept the end result like a true sportsman.
