KARACHI – Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) senior leader Dr FarooqSattar reached Bahadurabad office of the party on late Friday night wherehe was warmly received by Khawaja Izhar, Faisal Zabazwari and Ameen-ul-Haq.
A meeting of senior leaders of MQM-P was held at the Bahadurabad officeduring which they discussed party’s strategy in the wake of upcominggeneral elections.
Speaking to media after the meeting, Farooq Sattar said that MQM-P was oneunit in the past and will remain the same in future. He said that the unityof Muhajir community is to be maintained at all cost and vowed to maintainthis unity before and after the elections.
Farooq Sattar said that he came to Bahadurabad as a worker of MQM-P andadded that the purpose of coming here was not to obtain tickets for theupcoming general elections.
MQM-P convener Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui while speaking on the occasion saidthat today’s meeting was enough to answer those who were conspiring againstthe party for the past four month.
