KARACHI – State Bank of Pakistan Chief breaks silence over US dollar hikeagainst Pakistani Rupee.
The Chief Spokesman of the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) on Thursday saidthe exchange rate in the Inter-bank market closed at Rs146.52 for one USdollar against Wednesday’s close of Rs141.40.
In his brief statement, he said this movement reflected demand and supplyconditions in the foreign exchange market. And, it would help in correctingmarket imbalances.
