ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister Imran Khan says the government is determined toovercome current economic challenges through peace oriented, investmentfriendly, development focused and people centered strategies.

He was talking to Japanese Ambassador Kuninori Matsuda, who called on himin Islamabad on Thursday.

Imran Khan said Pakistan is ready to welcome Japanese businesses in allsectors of economy.

He appreciated Japan’s role as Pakistan’s key development partner over theyears and highlighted areas of investment, human resource development,information technology, tourism and agriculture to further deepen mutuallybeneficial cooperation.

The Japanese Ambassador discussed areas of bilateral cooperation betweenPakistan and Japan.

The two sides expressed satisfaction over the upward trajectory inbilateral relations between Pakistan and Japan.

The Ambassador assured his country’s full support to enhance bilateralrelations with Pakistan.
