North Korea has cancelled high-level talks with South Korea scheduled to be held today due to resentment on its joint military exercises with the United States.
The North Korean official news agency said the drills were a provocation and a rehearsal for an invasion.
Meanwhile, the US State Department said it is continuing to prepare for the summit as it is not aware of any changes in the North Korean position. AFP
