Responding to the press conference of DG ISPR, senior analyst ArshadSharif shared the news of US request for military bases.
In his statement on microblogging website Twitter, Arshad Sharifshared news clippings from Pakistani and American news agenciesbroadcast after the CIA chief’s meeting with the army chief and DG ISIon June 7 and 8, 2021.
Sharing the news, Arshad Sharif said that Dawn and New York Timespublished the news on June 7 and 8 that the CIA chief had requestedmilitary bases in a meeting with Pakistan’s military leadership.
Arshad Sharif said that however, the Prime Minister of Pakistan ImranKhan on June 19 refused to give bases in front of the world in clearwords “Absolutely Not”.
