Lahore: PTI lawmakers held a late night meeting with the deputy speakerDost Muhammad Mazari and tried to convince him not to betray the party atthe last moment.
However deputy speaker told the PTI members that over 35 PTI members havetaken Rs 5 crore each along with the promise of the PML N ticket in nextgeneral elections. He further revealed that he has been offered Rs 15 crorealong with the ticket for holding the session tomorrow for election ofHamza Shahbaz Sharif.
Deputy Speaker Sardar Dost Muhammad Mazari was was subjected to severeviolence by PTI’s lawmakers when he arrived to formally begin the session.
The aggressive PTI members caused huge rumpus, bringing “lotas” to thehouse and started chanting slogans. Several videos circulating on socialmedia show PTI lawmakers, including women members, tossing “lotay” in theair.
Former provincial minister Khayal Ahmad Kastro and former adviser to thechief minister Omar Farooq were also involved in the scuffle, however,assembly members and security personnel intervened.
