*ISLAMABAD: Keeping in view the rising number of references, Prime MinisterImran Khan on Monday gave green signal to set up a third accountabilitycourt at the Judicial Complex in Islamabad.*
According to the sources, minister of law had issued a notification givingapproval for constitution of third accountability court in the federalcapital. However, an inspection team had visited Judicial Complex thrice toallocate place for the court.
The sources further said that the current two accountability courts werehearing over 120 cases and added that the constitution of a new court wasnecessary to ease the work burden on the courts.
The decision to constitute a new court, had been taken last week in ahigh-level meeting at the Judicial Complex, the sources said and added thataccountability judges and officials of law ministry had participated in themeeting.
