The meeting discussed a 17-point agenda to review the economy and politicalsituation.
The prime minister took the cabinet into confidence over his visit to Iran.
The federal cabinet meeting discussed overall political and economicsituation of Pakistan.
Moreover, Finance Minister Asad Umar take the cabinet into confidence abouthis meetings with the IMF and the World Bank officials in Washington.
Earlier on April 10, Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan and Punjab cabinetapproved the draft of new local bodies system.
The new municipal system will consist of two categories that includemunicipal and mohalla councils in urban areas, while tehsil and villagecouncils in rural areas.
