*KARACHI: Pakistan’s Fawad Alam, who has been once again ignored by theselectors despite the incredible record in domestic and internationalcricket has responded to his rejection by the PCB. *

The 32-year old, who maintains astounding batting averages of 41.66 and55.37 in three Tests and 145 First Class games he has played, congratulatedeveryone who made it to the squad and hoped for a win in the upcomingseries.
The chief selector of Pakistan cricket team, Inzamam Ul Haq selected fiveuncapped players for the all-important tour of UK.
“We have tried to strengthen our batting and also considered giving achance to youngsters [on the tour] as the next World Cup is in England,”said Inzamam while justifying his selection.
Fakhar Zaman, Faheem Ashraf, Imam Ul Haq, Usman Salahuddin and Saad Ali arethe five players who got their debut call from the national selectors.
Pakistan will leave for England on April 30th and play a warm-up gameagainst Kent before facing Ireland in their debut Test match.
