Nigerian Defence Minister Retired Major General Bashir Salihi Magashi,called on Defence Minister Pervez Khatttak in Islamabad today [Wednesday].

Speaking on the occasion, Minister for Defence Pervez Khattak said Pakistanhighly values it’s relations with Nigeria and hoped to see them flourishfuture.

He said Pakistan’s “Vision for Africa” is to develop strong, close andcooperative relations enhancing trade, investment and defence cooperationand establish Joint Ventures and public-private partnership.

The visiting dignitary appreciated Pakistan’s role in regional stabilityand assured to play his role for further improvement in diplomaticcooperation with Pakistan at all levels.
