ISLAMABAD – Former Judge, Supreme Court of India Justice Markandey Katjuhas strongly protested over revocation of invitations to Pakistani UrduScholars to the world Urdu Conference.
Former Judge, Supreme Court of India and former Chairman Press council ofIndia Justice Markandey Katju has strongly protested over revocation ofinvitations to Pakistani Urdu Scholars to the world Urdu Conference.
The Conference is scheduled to be held from Monday to Wednesday in NewDelhi.
In a tweet today, Justice Markandey Katju said this stupidity has crossedall the limits and is an insult to a great language Urdu, born in India.

He said Urdu is falsely branded as a foreign language and a language ofMuslims by bigots.
He appealed to all invitees to refuse to attend the conference against thisridiculous act.
