ISLAMABAD – Former President General Retired Pervez Musharraf has decidedto come back to Pakistan.

Sources told that former army rulers has eventually decided to come tohome. According to Musharraf’s lawyers, he wanted to come back Pakistan toface all the cases against him.

Earlier, the special court hearing the treason case against formerpresident General (retd) Pervez Musharraf ordered the federal government onFriday to put special measures in place to bring the ex-military ruler backfrom the United Arab Emirates.

The three-member special court issued a written order in the hearing today.Peshawar High Court Chief Justice Yahya Afridi is heading the bench whichincludes Lahore High Court Chief Justice Yawar Ali and Balochistan HighCourt Justice Tahira Safdar.

The special court ordered that the interior ministry should take action forthe arrest of the former military ruler through the Interpol.

The court also ruled that the federal government should take measures forthe confiscation of assets of Musharraf.

The former president’s advocate in his arguments said that an applicationwas sent to the interior ministry for the security of Musharraf.In the previous hearing on March 8, the court ordered the confiscation ofthe ex-army chief’s properties
