MULTAN:Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) I Multan Thursday conducted raids in different parts of Dera Ghazi Khan and arrested four agents engaged in illegal transaction of money including foreign currency through Hawala and Hundi.
The raids were conducted on the orders of director FIA Punjab, deputy director FIA Multan, officials said.
FIA teams conducted 18 raids under supervision of Inspector/SHO FIA Ansar Abbas, Inspector Ijaz Ahmed, SI Kashif Alvi, SI Ghulam Abbas, SI Abdul Rauf, SI Jamil Khan, besides Faisal Asghar, Nasir Mehmood, Sadaqat and Zafar at DG Khan city.
Record regarding hundi/hawala business had been recovered and four accused namely Akbar, Khalid, Shah Nawaz and Muhammad Zubair were arrested.
Three FIRs were registered against the accused and investigations were in progress. APP/AFP
