ISLAMABAD – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has announced three-day mourning overthe sad demise of senior party leader Naeem-ul-Haq.
Prime Minister Imran Khan and President Arif Alvi expressed deep sorrow andgrief over the sad demise of Naeem ul Haque.
They also prayed for the higher ranks of the departed soul and condoledwith the bereaved family.
In a tweet, Prime Minister Imran Khan said Naeem ul Haque was one of theten founding members of PTI .
He said in 23 years of PTI’s trials and tribulations, Naeem ul Haque alwaysstood by him.
Paying tribute to senior PTI leader, he said his death has left anirreplaceable void.
Talking to PTV, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi said PTI have lost aloyal friend today.
Special Assistant on Information Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan in a tweet, saidNaeem ul Haque was a great asset to the party whose space can never befilled.
Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry, RailwayMinister Sheikh Rasheed, Minister for Education Shafqat Mahmood, andGovernor Sindh Imran Ismail and others also expressed profound grief andsorrow over the sad demise of Naeem-ul-Haq.
Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser, Deputy Speaker Qasim Khan Suri,Minister for Religious Affairs Noor-ul-Haq Qadri, Defence Minister PervezKhan Khattak and Minister for Climate Change Malik Amin Aslam haveexpressed deep sorrow and grief over the demise of PTI leader Naeem ulHaque.
In their separate statements and tweets, they prayed to Almighty Allah tobless his departed soul and grant him Jannah.
In a statement, PTI Central Vice President Zahid Hussain said the party hasdecided to postpone all its political activities for three days.
All senior party leadership will gather at PTI Central Secretariat to offerFateha after the funeral prayers and burial of Naeem ul Haq.
Chief of Army Staff (COAS ) General Qamar Javed Bajwa has also expressedhis grief on the sad demise of Special Assistant to the Prime Minister onPolitical Affairs Naeemul Haque.
According to the Inter Services Public Relations, the COAS prayed for thedeceased and his family. “May Allah bless the departed soul and givestrength to the bereaved family, Aamen,” COAS said.
Chief of Naval Staff (CNS) Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi expressed his griefover the sad demise of Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on PoliticalAffairs Naeemul Haq.
In a message received from the Pakistan Navy Spokesperson, Chief of theNaval Staff Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi extended his heartfelt condolenceon the death of prominent politician Naeemul Haq.
“May Allah exalt the ranks of the late and give patience to his family,”the Naval Chief prayed.
