PESHAWAR: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Saturday has criticized the NationalAccountability Bureau (NAB) for arresting the accomplished archeology andDirector of Archaeology and Museums for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), Dr AbdulSamad.
PM Imran Khan took notice of the Dr Samad and asked the NAB Chief Dr JavedIqbal to take action against those people who are in ‘this disgraceful act’of arresting a well known and accomplished archeologist of KhyberPakhtunkhwa on Friday.
While replying to a post of senior journalist Ismail Khan, PM Imran Khantweeted that “The NAB Chairman should take action against those in hisinstitution who are responsible for this disgraceful act”.
Senior journalist of Peshawar, Ismail Khan had tweeted about the arrest ofDr Samad, he wrote that “NAB brought the only PhD in Sanskrit, in Asia fromGermany, a Fulbright scholar and a gold medalist in archeology [sic], Dr.Samad, to court for employing low paid workers to ward off illegalexcavations.
