ISLAMABAD – Interior Minister Ahsan Iqbal says any move to place Pakistanin the grey list by the international community will be counterproductive.

He stated this during a meeting with his Norwegian counterpart, SylviaListaug and State Secretary Halvorsen in Oslo.

He said it will undermine the extensive work that Pakistan had carried outunder National Action Plan to thwart terrorism.

Highlighting Pakistan’s sacrifices in the war on terror the Minister calledupon Norway to support Pakistan at the upcoming meeting of the FinancialAction Task Force in Paris.

Earlier, interacting with Pakistani-Norwegians he said Pakistan is rankedamong the fastest emerging economies in Asia.
