Iran’s Revolutionary Guards today fired long-range ballistic missiles intothe Indian Ocean on the second day of a military exercise.
Today’s drill targets were in the Gulf of Oman and the northern IndianOcean.
Iranian state media quoted Guards commander Major General Hossein Salamisaying that Tehran’s most important defence policy goals is to uselong-range ballistic missiles against enemy warships including aircraftcarriers and warships.
Hossein Salami said we can now strike moving targets in the ocean, insteadof the usual low-speed cruise missiles.
