BEIJING – Chinese President Xi Jinping and his U.S. counterpart, DonaldTrump discussed bilateral trade and the situation on the Korean Peninsulaby phone.
Both leaders acknowledged the resumption of inter-Korean dialogue.
Chinese President said China is ready to continue its joint efforts withthe United States and other members of the international community toresolve Korean issue.
Trump said the U.S. side values China’s significant role in resolving theKorean Peninsula issue and is willing to strengthen communication andcoordination with China over the issue. (Xinhua/AP)
