PESHAWAR (APP): The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government will spend Rs 18 billion rupees on mass transit bus project in Peshawar being constructed with the financial assistance of Asian Development Bank.

The 25 kilometre long project, which is a part of the Mass Transit System in provincial the capital, will start from Motorway Interchange Chamkani and after passing city and cantonment areas culminate at Hayatabad bordering Khyber Agency.
According an official source, in the first phase some 100 modern air conditioned buses will be purchased. The buses will arrive in Peshawar within six months for which modalities, including fare, routes and stops are being finalized.
