NEW DELHI: Host India faces New Zealand in opening match of T20 World Cup at Vibharda Cricket Association Stadium, Nagpur.

 

This is the first match of the Super 10 round which consists of two groups of five teams each.

 

MS Dhoni is the captain of Indian team while Kane Williamson is leading the New Zealand.

 

Both groups teams will fight to qualify for semifinals as the Super 10 round will be concluded on March 28.

 

The semi final will be played in New Delhi and Mumbai on 30th and 31st March.

 

The winners will play a final match in Eden Gardens Kolkata on April 3.

 

Pakistan will play its first match against Bangladesh on March 16 in Kolkata.

 

Pakistan will also play with New Zealand and Australia on March 22 and March 25 in the same venue.

 

The venue was scheduled in Dharamsala but shifted to Kolkata due to the threat calls to Pakistan Cricket Team by Hindu Extremist groups.
