ISLAMABAD:Commerce Minister Muhammad Pervaiz Malik who is in Canada met with Ontario’s Minister for International Trade Michael Chan to discuss trade relations between Pakistan and Ontario province.
The Minister briefed him on the economic progress that Pakistan has made in recent years as a result of economic reforms undertaken by the government.
The Minister said that improved security situation in Pakistan is leading to increased foreign direct investment inflows.
Ontario Minister Chan said that Canada wants to expand and diversify its trading partners in Asia including Pakistan.APP/AFP
