Petroleum prices in Pakistan being increased

ISLAMABAD: Federal government is likely to increase prices of petroleum products by Rs 16.71 per litre.

Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has suggested the federal government to increase petrol prices by Rs 1.91 per litre and diesel by Rs 2.03 per litre.

An increase of Rs 16.71 per litre has been recommended for kerosene oil.

OGRA has also suggested the federal government to increase light diesel's cost by Rs 12.53 per litre.

The federal government will announce the final prices by tonight (Wednesday).

On February 1, the government has announced to readjust prices of petroleum products by Rs 2.25 per litre. –APP
