Asad Shafiq, who opened the innings, top scored with 45 off 42 balls with four boundaries.
Bangladeshi cricketer Mahmudullah, playing for the first time in the tournament, scored an unbeaten 29 from 20 balls with a four and a six.
He was followed by Thisara Perera (27) and Ahmed Shehzad (26) while captain Sarfraz Ahmed could make only 12 with a six.
