In Occupied Kashmir, the Dukhtaran-e-Millat (DeM) has slammed the deliberate attempts by the Indian judiciary to prolong the detention of its party leaders, Aasiya Andrabi, Nahida Nasreen and Fahmida Sufi.
The spokesperson in a statement in Srinagar, said, the NIA has failed to present all the required papers before the court.
However, the court is giving renewal dates to fulfill their tactics to prolong their illegal custody and consequently keep them under detention.
The spokesperson said that due to lack of facilities in the Tihar Jail, Sufi Fehmeeda has become very ill and Aasiya Andrabi too needs medical care.
She demanded the Amnesty International and the human rights bodies should play a pro-active role to press for the release of the DeM leaders.
