ANKARA – Turkish engineering company Yontem Teknoloji won a tender fortechnical training of Pakistani pilotslink.
The firm will start training as of June 2020 in Turkey’s newly establishedaviation academy, according to SAHA Istanbul Defence and Aerospace ClusterAssociation.
At the first stage, 30 Pakistani pilots will be trained at the School ofAviation Training and Services and the number of pilots will be increasedgradually in the following period.
Ilhami Keles, the secretary general of SAHA Istanbul, said products andsystems manufactured in Turkey will be made available to Pakistani pilotsduring the training.
Emre Uzar, the general manager of Yontem Teknoloji, stated that the Turkishfirm will share its experience on simulators and training sets incompliance with the Directorate General of Civil Aviation and EuropeanUnion Aviation Safety Agency.
