Former Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gillani lands in hot waters

RAWALPINDI: Former Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gillani lands in hot watersfrom the National Accountability Bureau (NAB).

NAB has summoned former prime minister Yousaf Raza Gillani tomorrow(Monday) in a probe related to illegal appointments case, ARY News reportedon Sunday, citing sources.

As per details, the anti-graft watchdog has asked Pakistan Peoples Party(PPP) leader Yousaf Raza Gillani to appear before NAB Rawalpindi office onMonday at 11:00 am for interrogation into illegal appointment case.

Ex-PM Gillani misused his power and appointed former managing directorPakistan Television Corporation (PTV) illegally, said NAB.

Earlier, on December 11, the accountability court had summoned ex-primeminister Yousaf Raza Gillani on January 13 for indictment in illegaladvertisement contracts case.

During the proceedings, the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) courtjudge Azam Khan had directed the former premier to appear in the nexthearing at any cost.

It must be noted that PPP leader is facing several inquires including fakebank accounts case. He appeared before NAB in April in the fake bankaccounts case where the anti-graft watchdog had handed over a questionnaireto him.
