In an intelligence-based operation (IBO) conducted in the Kiri Machan Khelarea of Tank district, security forces eliminated seven terrorists during anight operation on November 14-15, 2023.
The Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) reported a fierce exchange offire between troops and terrorists, resulting in the successfulneutralization of the terrorists. The operation also led to the discoveryand destruction of terrorists’ hideouts, along with the recovery of weaponsand ammunition.
These terrorists were actively involved in various activities, includingrecent targeted killings of police in Tank and nearby areas. The ISPRmentioned an ongoing sanitization operation to eliminate any remainingterrorists, with local residents expressing appreciation and full supportfor the security forces’ efforts against terrorism.
