ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister Imran Khan has ordered severe crackdown acrossthe country.
He has directed the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Thursday to conductan “immediate crackdown” against hundi and hawala operators conductingtheir businesses in the country.
According to a statement released by the investigative agency, the premier,ordered a country-wide action against illegal channels of fund transfersand asked for a report to be submitted on November 24.
The FIA also announced that all field units should be apprised aboutinstructions laid out by the PM and called for each zone to ensure a totalof five raids daily, as the matter is of high-priority.

Raiding parties are also directed to seize gadgets and out material thatreveals information on the passage on funds out of the country. Theauthority also maintained that a forensic audit shall also be conducted.
