ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister Imran Khan has donated Rs 1.6 crore watch giftedby Saudi crown prince to the national exchequer.
An extremely expensive wristwatch gifted by the Saudi crown prince has beendonated by PM Imran Khan, a private media outlet reported Wednesday.
According to reports, the branded – Swiss luxury Chopard– watch worthRs16.5 million was presented to the prime minister by Crown Prince MohammadBin Salman during the former’s visit to Saudi Arabia last month.
The premier could have kept the wristwatch to himself by paying 10 per cent(1.65 million), however, reports said, the premier decided otherwise andsubmitted it to the treasury.
