Pakistan strongly hits out at Israel over Gaza operation

Caretaker Foreign Minister Jalil Abbas Jilani has voiced his apprehensionregarding the situation in Palestine and strongly denounced the Israeliassaults on innocent Palestinian women and children. He mentioned that theOrganization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) will convene a crucial session toaddress the Palestine issue.

This special OIC meeting is slated for October 18 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia,and aims to scrutinize Israeli acts of aggression against the Palestinianpopulation, including airstrikes in Gaza. The OIC will also make an appealfor Israel to adhere to United Nations resolutions.

Jilani conveyed this message during a press conference where he discussedvarious significant developments and meetings. Regarding the caretakerprime minister’s upcoming visit to China, Jilani emphasized the importanceof diplomatic engagement between the two nations.

The caretaker PM, Anwarul Haq Kakar, has been invited by the Chinesepresident, and Jilani will participate in these significant meetings. Theagenda includes the signing of crucial cooperation projects andinteractions with other global leaders.

This visit is anticipated to bolster mutual cooperation between China andPakistan, with the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) remaining acentral project symbolizing the shared interests and collaboration betweenthe two nations.
