ISLAMABAD: The Oil and Gas Development Company (OGDC) said on Tuesday thatit has found oil and gas at its condensate at Togh well-1 in Kohat, KhyberPakhtunkhwa.
The well was drilled and tested using the OGDC’s in house expertise inconsultation with joint venture partners Mari Petroleum Company Limited(MPCL) and Saif Energy Limited (SEL), an OGDCL press release stated. Thewell was drilled down to the depth of 3,200 metres.
According to a preliminary test, the well could produce 50 barrels per day(BPD) of condensate through 32/64 choke at wellhead flowing press of760-823 pounds per square inch (psi), and 4.1 million standard cubic feetper day (MMSCFD) gas.

OGDC said the discovery of the well is the result of aggressive explorationstrategy adopted by the company which opened a new avenue in KP areas andwould add to the hydrocarbon reserves base of the company as well as thejoint venture partners.
