ISLAMABAD – The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince William and KateMiddleton met with Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan and President Dr ArifAlvi on the second day of their visit in Islamabad.
On arrival at the Prime Minister’s House, PM Khan welcomed the royalcouple. The British guests was being hosted lunch with the prime minister.

Before meeting with the premier, the couple was welcomed by President ArifAlvi and his wife Samina Arif at Aiwan-i-Sadr. Kate, who earlier donned aroyal blue kurta, changed into green and white attire for the formalreceptions.

President Alvi and the first lady welcomed the Royal couple. The Duke ofCambridge thanked the President for the warm welcome and hospitalityextended to him and his entourage.
They appreciated the initiatives undertaken by the Government of Pakistanto combat climate change and to alleviate poverty. The Duke and Duchess ofCambridge are on a 5-day visit to Pakistan, during which they would visitIslamabad, Lahore and the Northern areas of Pakistan.
