LAHORE – Former railways minister Kh Saad Rafique has managed to defeatPakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Humayun Akhtar.
As per details garnered, Kh Saad grabbed 60476 votes while his mainopponent Akhtar managed only 50456 votes.
The seat fell vacant after General Elections 2018 as Prime Minister ImranKhan had decided to retain the seat of Minawali.
Earlier, Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Sunday took notice ofPakistan Muslim League Nawaz’s (PML-N) leader Khawaja Saad Rafique whilerejecting latter’s statement that Result Transmission System (RTS) wasn’tfunctioning properly.
