ISLAMABAD – Former Chairman Senate Farooq H. Naek has been unanimouslynominated as member Inter Parliamentary Union Committee on the UnitedNations Affairs.
He is likely to be elected for the slot during the meeting of GoverningCouncil of the Committee on Wednesday in Geneva, Switzerland.
He was nominated by Chairman Senate Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani and seconded bySpeaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser.
In this context, Senator Farooq H. Naek said it is pride moment forPakistan Parliament to represent Inter Parliamentary Union on forum ofUnited Nations.
