Pakistan has strongly condemned the recent missile and drone strikes byHouthis on Saudi Arabia, which is a violation of Kingdom’s sovereignty andterritorial integrity.
In a statement, Foreign Office Spokesperson Zahid Hafeez Chaudhri said wecommend how Saudi Arabia’s successful defensive actions prevented loss ofmany innocent civilian lives.
He said Pakistan expresses full solidarity with Saudi Arabia and supportsthe Kingdom’s right to defend itself against aggression.
He said Pakistan has consistently urged all parties to the conflict inYemen to engage in a meaningful and peaceful dialogue to end thehostilities, in line with the UN Security Council Resolution 2216.
