Pakistanis joined by pro Khalistan community members stage protest in US against India over Occupied Kashmir

NEW YORK – Pakistanis were joined by pro Khalistan community members whostage protest in US against India over Occupied Kashmir lockdown.

Pro-Khalistan Sikhs joined by Pakistani community members held a protest inHouston, United States, demanding resolution of Kashmir dispute and againstModi-led Hindu nationalist Indian government for committing grossviolations of human rights in occupied Kashmir.

To express support for the cause of Kashmir and demanding a separate landfor Sikhs, the Sikh community members and Pakistanis, in a form of carcadewith Kashmir and Khalistan flags mounted on their cars, moved through theroads and streets while chanting full-throat slogans against the Modiregime.

The protesters raised slogans of “Modi’s tour of the U.S. unacceptable.”

On the other hand, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on OverseasPakistanis and Human Resource Development Zulfiqar Hussain Bukhari, akaZulfi Bukhari, held meetings with Muslim organisations in New York formaking preparations for staging a protest in the U.S. upon arrival ofIndian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Furthermore, a massive demonstration will be held outside United NationsGeneral Assembly (UNGA) headquarters in New York when Modi will deliver hisspeech in the upcoming session of the UNGA.

Importantly, Sikh organisations in Indian Punjab have jointly condemnedIndian government’s unilateral action of revoking special autonomy ofoccupied Jammu and Kashmir, and its division into two Union territories, areport in The Wire revealed.

The development is being considered “very significant” as theseorganisations spent three decades at odds with each other over militancy inIndian Punjab.
