ISLAMABAD – Important developments reported on two mega transnationalenergy pipeline projects linking Pakistan.
Pakistan government is aggressively pursuing international gas pipelineprojects to meet energy needs of the country.
A press release issued by Ministry of Energy in Islamabad saidTurkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India Gas Pipeline Project and NorthSouth Gas Pipeline Project are clear illustrations of such efforts.
It said the TAPI Project has achieved substantial progress during thecurrent year.
The ground breaking ceremony for Pakistan segment of the Project isexpected to be held soon.
