ISLAMABAD – Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry has announcedestablishment of first ever media university in Pakistan.
He further said that western countries, especially the United States, wereengaged in biased reporting on the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC)project.
He expressed these views during a visit to the PTV and Radio Pakistanacademies. Chaudhry said CPEC was an important project and the governmentwould work for its extension.
He said the government would merge PTV and Radio academies to establish amedia university. “We will take necessary steps to depoliticise PTV andrevive its stature and glory,” he added.
